With 8,500 units built, the Panzer IV was the most commonly built tank for the Wehrmacht and formed the cornerstone of Germany's tank divisions until 1945. The planning and development of the tank went back to 1930. At the end of 1934, work began on the prototype for this vehicle, which was subjected to various tests by the Heereswaffenamt. These were completed in 1935/36 when the Krupp company was awarded the contract to build the tank. While the short 7.5 cm KwK 37 L / 24 was still in use at the start of production, from spring 1943 the 7.5 cm KwK 40 L / 48 with a further increased penetration of the ammunition. On the Eastern Front and the Battle of the Kursk Arch, the Panzer IV was the most important part of the armored division of the Wehrmacht and formed the backbone of the armed forces there.

Control and functions
The powerful package has a 2.4 GHz control. The engines with optimized torque give the Panzer IV a precise, smooth ride. Metal gears with sturdy gears and an improved translation ensure higher power. Thanks to the proportional control, you can approach the tank very slowly and increase the speed continuously. The Panzer IV moves forwards and backwards, also with a left and right turn. It can also be turned left or right on the spot. You can raise and lower the cannon and rotate the turret 360 degrees. Various engine noises and smoke from the mufflers round off the realistic experience.
