Erinnerungen eines Frontsoldaten Gebundenes Buch – 2018
The experiences of a front-line soldier recorded in this book give an authentic insight into the youth of a former volunteer who experienced the reality of the war in the ranks of the Waffen-SS. Starting with the hard basic training and the subsequent transfer to the front unit, the SS-Totenkopf-Infanterie-Regiment 1, his way to Russia led him to the cauldron of Demjansk, where he was severely wounded. Again operational, he was expected to return to the East, where he remained with his troops until his fourth wound. After another recovery process, now in the rank of Rottenführers, his last stop should be in the lineup "SS-Regiment Falke". With luck, he also survived this last leg of his time as a frontline soldier. His further descriptions of the very eventful post-war period are a fitting conclusion to this book. The foreword to this book comes from the pen of a former member of the "Florian Geyer" 144 pages, hardcover, bound, with numerous pictures and documents.
