Michael Wittlman (April 22, 1914 - August 8, 1944) was a German tank commander in World War II. He was credited with the destruction of 138 tanks and 132 anti-tank guns as well as an unknown number of other armored fighter-wheels, making him one of the most mass-fired German tank races. Wittmann was famous for his surprise attack on 13 June 1944 during the Battle of Villers-Bocage against parts of the 7th British Tank Division. He destroyed within 15 minutes 15 tanks, 10 half-track vehicles, 2 crew transporters and 2 anti-tank guns.
