Die Brücke - DVD
1945 - shortly before the end of the Second World War in a small German town. The American troops keep advancing. In this hopeless situation, minors are also recruited and used to defend their homeland. Most of them are poorly trained and so green behind the ears that they pose a danger to themselves and others. 7 patriotic students are gripped by a thirst for adventure and are supposed to secure a bridge against the enemy. Sergeant Heilmann is appointed to look after them.
But when he dies in a grotesque incident, the boys are on their own. As soon as the Americans arrive with tanks and far superior infantry units, the game becomes bloody serious. The first fight fan changes into fear, feelings of revenge arise in the face of the first victim. In the end, almost all of the boys will be dead, true to their oath.
