Willi Kubik, from 1940 until his capture in Bulgaria at the beginning of September 1944 in armored and heavy armored cars, describes in his detailed diary records the experiences of about 200 soldiers of the 1st Company in detail. Many extraordinary and unique photographs by the author accompany the moving text. The valuable documents were preserved only because of the fact that Willi Kubik always sent them back home immediately.
