Deutsche Opfer: Kriegs- und Nachkriegsverbrechen alliierter Täter Gebundenes Buch
This is a book for readers with strong nerves. The renowned author, Emeritus Professor of the Bundeswehr University of Munich, has investigated and compiled Allied crimes against Germans in the East and in the West. The result is a veritable horror record: terrorist bombardment of German civilians, expulsions, mass rape, post-war KZs, starvation war on prisoners of war, forced labor in mine clearance, terror of the Tito partisans. Although the torments of Germans in the German eastern provinces and in the Sudetenland by Russians, Poles and Czechs are historically unique in their bestiality and dimension, the crimes of the Western powers were trivialized by the subsequent Cold War. Here the author does the necessary - deeply disturbing - enlightenment work by investigating countless crimes of the Western powers in detail. Maltreatment to the death and rape were also commonplace here.
A book that deserves the widest circulation.
