Constantly exposed to the attacks of Russian bombers and bombers and severely wounded in the leg, he arrives with a horse-drawn vehicle from Balga to Rosenberg, from there by a ship to Pillau and by rail transport via ?winouj?cie to Schwerin in the hospital. On the run to the west, he gets on May 3, 1945 in American captivity and is released in July 1945 in the home.
