Im großen Krieg: Leben und Sterben des Leutnants Fritz Rümmelein Gebundenes Buch
Fritz Rümmelein, 19 years old, announces himself on 2 August 1914 as a war volunteer. For four and a half years he fights on the Western Front, participates in all major battles and gets to know the horror of the trenches, but also the normal everyday life of the war. On November 4, 1918, almost exactly the day after four years and three months at the front and seven days before the armistice, Lieutenant Fritz Rümmelein falls. He leaves letters, diaries and photos. Ralf Georg Reuth tells this life and integrates it into the historical context.
