All 25 field marshals and the two grand admirals are outlined biographically and presented in their military careers and weapons. In addition to large-format, colored portrait photos, this photo book contains numerous other color photos of these senior soldiers. Legendary names such as Dönitz, Keitel, Manstein, Model, Richthofen, Rommel and Schörner stand alongside less well-known names. Although some of them opposed the political system, almost all of them fulfilled their duty to the German Wehrmacht and their homeland with their outstanding skills and achievements.
