The large text and image documentation about the SS-Standartenführer Jochen Peiper, well-known and highly decorated Panzerführer of the Waffen-SS. Awarded the knight's bow with oak leaves and swords, Peiper was first condemned to death by the Americans in one of the Dachau trials after being surrendered, then released after eleven and a half years in prison, and finally moved back to Alsace. There he was treacherously murdered.
